The purpose of this research was to raise awareness amongst first time home buyers about the benefits of investing in modern prefabricated homes.

Refined Problem: People in the Bay Area who are looking into buying a home are unaware of the existence and benefits of modern prefabricated homes.
Refined Purpose: The purpose of this research was to inform and raise awareness amongst potential Bay Area homeowners about the benefits of modern prefabricated homes.
Although I feel a lot better about the refined statements, they may need to be reworked yet again to narrow the focus.
